A year-long writing challenge and support group where members aim to write 12 picture book manuscripts in 12 months. Requires a paid membership.
Rate Your Story - Register mid-November through mid-January.
Members (both free and paid) are able to submit up to 2,000 words to be rated and, in some cases, critiqued by industry professionals.

ReviMo - Register in early January.
Revise More Picture Books Challenge (ReviMo) participants aim to revise seven picture book manuscripts during one week in January.

ReFoReMo - Register February 15-March 1.
Reading for Research Month (ReFoReMo) participants aim to "build reading background while learning how to use mentor texts." Participants are encouraged to read at least five books each day, as well as daily author-educator posts on the ReFoReMo blog.
November
PiBoIdMo - Register in late October through the first week of November.
Picture Book Idea Month (PiBoIdMo) participants aim to come up with one idea for a picture book every day during the month of November.
December
12 Days of Nonfiction - Registration not necessary.
Participants set writing goals for the following year, including a schedule for writing one new manuscript each month.
