Little, Brown Books for Young Readers

Founded in 1837, Little, Brown and Company is a division of Hachette Book Group, one of the "Big Five" trade publishers in the United States. They began publishing books for children in 1926. Their children's imprint, Little, Brown Books for Young Readers (LBYR) currently publishes about 135 titles each year. You can view trailers for many of their books on YouTube. Their books have won the Caldecott Medal for the last three years in a row.

In late 2016 they launched the Little, Brown Emerging Artist Award for new illustrators. The winner will be announced in March 2017.

Little, Brown and Company Books for Young Readers does not accept unsolicited submissions.
